Businesses in Devon, Cornwall, Bristol and Bath beat tough competition to win prizes at the Media Innovation Awards 2009, at a gala dinner held last night in Bristol to celebrate and recognise the innovative use of media and design in the region.

The judges awarded the 2009 trophy to Twofour Broadcast for the television project ‘Make My Body Younger’ which was produced for BBC3 and was “a truly innovative concept that was well executed using high impact digital technology to create a health programme with a difference”.

Karen Stockdale of the Media Innovation Awards said, “We had an exceptionally high number of entries from the creative media industry across the region this year, and the judges have had a very difficult task selecting winners from such a wealth of talent. Twofour Broadcast’s use of innovative ideas makes it a deserving winner for the 2009 trophy.”
